Matthew didn't start out in finance. He spent his early career as a geologist, out in the field for some of the world's largest gold and base metal mining companies. Reading what's underneath the surface long before he ever read a client's financial position.
Matthew has been advising for over twenty years, most recently as a Director at Private Wealth Partners, with earlier roles at DWL Financial Services, a major stockbroking firm and a boutique planning practice. He takes the trust clients place in him seriously. What matters most to Matthew is the moment a client stops worrying because they know he's already worked through every scenario that matters to them.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science, a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment, and a Diploma of Financial Planning, with specialist training in Self-Managed Superannuation Funds, and is a member of the Financial Advisers Association of Australia.

Before training as a financial adviser, Cameron studied psychology and it shows in how he works with clients. Financial decisions aren't just about the numbers; they're connected to what someone actually wants for their family and their time. His detail-oriented, empathetic approach means clients spend less time worrying about their wealth and more time with the people it's for.
Cameron entered the industry in 2006 as a client relationship manager at a boutique planning firm, where he saw firsthand the impact good advice has on people's lives before becoming an adviser himself. In the ten years prior to starting Clontarf Private Wealth, Cameron was part of the leadership team at Private Wealth Partners, guiding both the business and its clients through complex financial decisions. Today, he brings that same empathetic approach to every client relationship at Clontarf Private Wealth.
Qualifications: Master's and Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts (Psychology). Specialist training in Self-Managed Superannuation Funds, gearing and margin lending. Member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia. Justice of the Peace.

“We felt that we had met someone we could trust. Someone who really had our best interests at heart and was looking at things from different angles. You came up with some great ideas that other people hadn’t come up with, so we’re very grateful for that.”
